The July 2021 evaluation figures are now available for all dairy and beef animals. The ICBF Animal Search, Active Bull Lists and Stock Bull Finder have all been updated. Farmers subscribed to the HerdPlus service can view their animals new evaluation figures through the various online profiles. Reports (EBI, Euro-Star, BDGP Eligibility, etc.) will be updated over the coming weeks. Farmers will be notified by text as soon as these reports are available online.

New Records

On the dairy side there are some 781,337 additional milk production records added to the July evaluation, an addition of 1.9% extra records bringing total milk production records to 41,057,456. Calving Interval added an additional 742,038 records to this evaluation while Lameness and Mastitis seen additions of 27,802 and 25,401 respectively.

In terms of beef records, there are some 57,696 additional cow live weights and some 10,991 additional maternal weaning weights added to the July evaluation. Beef Calving Interval added an additional 394,514 records to this evaluation.

Genomics saw some 225,438 added for this evaluation bringing the total number of genotypes included in the latest evaluation to 2,476,754. Some 11,869 additional liver fluke records were added to the July evaluation, an addition of 2.6% extra records bringing total liver fluke records to 464,898.
