EBI Profile EBI is a single-figure profit index aimed at helping farmers identify the most profitable bulls and cows for breeding dairy herd replacements. It comprises of information on seven sub-indexes related to profitable milk production. The use of the EBI profile is essential for any farmer serious about improving profits!
5-Year Trend Report The aim of this report is to illustrate the improvements that are being made at national level and highlight the positive impact that genetics is having on the national dairy herd.
Calving Report The Calving Report looks at all dairy calvings in the herd between July 1st and 30th June and allows herds to fully asses their calving performance through Key Performance Indicators such as Calving Interval, 6 week calving rates etc. These KPIs can be discussed with the herds advisor and used to inform breeding and management decisions in the coming year.
EBI Report The EBI report details your herd’s performance in terms of overall EBI and each of the seven
sub-indexes which will enable you to breed the most profitable animals for your herd.
Weekly Fertility Report Check how your cows are performing pm a weekly basis compared to the national average. Get ahead of potential problems by clearly identifying cows that may have fertility issues.
End of Season Fertility Report This report is an excellent tool for farmers to analyse their herd’s overall fertility performance in detail.
Dairy Cow Report The HerdPlus Dairy Cow Report allows farmers to fully analyse the performance of their dairy cows. It includes complete details for each cow including ancestry, EBI Index, milk yield and progeny performance details.
Expected Calving List Plan ahead with the expected calving list during the busy calving season. Keep track of your expected calving dates during the busy calving season.
Dairy Herd Performance Report The Dairy Herd Performance Report is designed to highlight an individual herd’s performance at different stages throughout the year. Farmers can benchmark their herd’s performance against the average and top 10% within their Co-op. Herds are ranked accordingly to indicate their position.
Genomic Evaluation Report Clearly see the difference in the official genomic proof compared to the parental average of your animals. This report gives a detailed breakdown of the new genomic EBI of the animal with increased reliability.
HerdPlus Dairy Breeding Chart The HerdPlus Dairy Breeding Chart allows farmers to have full visibility on ‘Sire Advice’ matings, recorded serves and heats on all cows and maiden heifers. It includes basic EBI and ancestry details for each cow including Milk and Fertility sub-indices, sire and maternal grand sire for each cow.
Dairy Beef Weight Performance Report This report allows farmers who are involved in the Dairy Beef Calf Programme to analyse the weights of their dairy beef calves. This data is important for supporting beef farmers who are rearing calves from the dairy herd and to further facilitate the integration of the dairy and beef sectors.
