Friday 29th July marks the official deadline for the submission of all 2015 genotype samples and 2015 calf data as part of the BDGP. There was some confusion following a letter received by BDGP participants recently regarding this deadline. The July 29th deadline refers to 2015 tags and 2015 data only.

Survey data for the BDGP can be recorded online at www.icbf.com or agfood.ie . Data can also be recorded on the hard copy sent out to participants and returned to animal events in the envelope provided. Not all 2016 tags have arrived on farm yet as the tags have been requested in batches. 2016 BDGP tags will continue to arrive on farm for the next 4 to 5 weeks. With regard to the return of 2016 tags, it is advised to return tags as soon as possible so not to delay any BDGP payments.
