Michael Doran was elected as the new Chairman of the ICBF Board of Directors at a meeting of the ICBF board in Portloaise at the start of the month. Michael has taken over the role of Chairman from John O’ Sullivan who presided in May having been Chairman of ICBF for the past 12 years. Micheal is a new Dairy farmer from county Wexford who recently switched from the beef enterprise.
Mr. Patrick Kelly Jnr of Progressive Genetics takes over the role of Vice-Chairman from now Chairman Micheal Doran. Mr John Carty, (Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine) remains as company secretary.
