The commercial Eurostar catalogue has recently went live for Beef HerdPlus members. This is available under the “Applications” menu listing after you log into your online account. This will be a useful tool for beef farmers selling commercial females from home.
Female animal details can be generated in sales catalogue format. Furthermore, their genomic status is also listed on catalogue (note genotype symbol) in image below. Marts can also generate commercial beef catalogue for special breed sales.
Other useful information listed on catalogue if recorded on the ICBF database includes:
- Expected calving date (from service data on the database)
- Expected sire of calf (if recorded on database)
- Sire breed of bull used.
