Easily update missing sire information for current and historical animals using the ICBF website or HerdPlus App.

Accurate sire information is an important part of maintaining complete and reliable herd records. If you have animals in your herd that are missing sire details, farmers can update this information quickly and easily through their ICBF account.

The Record Missing Sires screen is available by logging into your account and navigating to:

Record Events → Missing Sires

This recording facility allows you to identify animals with missing sire information and submit the relevant sire details directly to ICBF. Keeping these records up to date helps improve the accuracy of herd data and genetic evaluations.

The facility is also available on the ICBF HerdPlus App, allowing farmers to record missing sires conveniently from their smartphone or tablet while on the farm.

Animals Currently in Your Herd

Animals currently in your herd that are missing sire details can be updated using the Record Missing Sires screen on desktop and through the ICBF HerdPlus App. The system displays eligible animals, making it easy to review and update records where sire information is available.

Historical Animals

If there are animals that have already left the herd without a sire being recorded, these can also be updated on the desktop screens only.

A Historical drop-down option is available on the same screen, allowing farmers to record missing sire information for departed animals and ensure herd records remain as complete as possible.
