The deadline for weighing animals as part of the BEEP-S and the Dairy Beef Calf Programme is fast approaching. Animals in both Beef Sector Efficiency Programmes must be weighed before November 1st. Carbon reduction targets, nitrates changes, record milk and beef prices leaving many farmers with looming tax bills means an un-chartered future in some respects.
