Photographed above is a Charolais heifer calf sired by Gene Ireland bull ‘KCH’ Clenagh Hank (bred by Michael Quin, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co.Clare) that was recently born in the herd of William Butler, Coolcullen, via Carlow, Co.Kilkenny. The Limousin cow is sired by ‘PAM’ and has a calving interval of 349 days.
