PLEASE NOTE:  This is a full evaluation update for all suckler beef traits with additional data since 31st October 2016 which was the cut-off data for the previous evaluation.

Genotypes
1 Million

There are over 6.1M Genotypes in the national database and counting. ICBF is the largest Beef Genomics database in the world.

SNPs
1 Billion

That’s ‘Billion’ with a ‘B’ (Over 218 times the population of China). SNPs are the most common type of genetic variation between animals.

There are over 2 Billion pieces of phenotypic (non genomic) data stored on the ICBF database.
