The first calves from the Autumn 2016 Gene Ireland beef bulls are currently being born on farms. Here is a Curaheen Earp bull calf. Pictured below is a bull calf sired by the former Gene Ireland Simmental bull ‘Curaheen Earp’ SI2152. Earp was on the Autumn 2015 Gene Ireland catalogue. This calf is pictured at just over 5 months of age.

Curaheen Earp has a replacement index of €159(5 Star) @ 57% reliability on his latest genomic proof (September 2017). Earp has a calving difficulty figure of 4.7% @ 97% reliability.
