The first calves from the autumn 2015 Gene Ireland beef bulls are currently being born on farms.
Pictured below are two of the first calves to be born by the Simmental Gene Ireland bull Seepa Fionn (SI2158).
The calf on the left is out of a CHX cow and weighed 59 kg at birth. The calf on the right is out of a SAX cow and weighed 54 kg at birth.
