July 29th Deadline for 2015 Tags and Data
Friday 29th July marks the official deadline for the submission of all 2015 genotype samples and 2015 calf data as part of the BDGP. There was some confusion following a letter received by BDGP participants recently regarding this deadline.

That’s ‘Billion’ with a ‘B’ (Over 218 times the population of China). SNPs are the most common type of genetic variation between animals.
There are over 2 Billion pieces of phenotypic (non genomic) data stored on the ICBF database.
