As mentioned above there is some variation between the porportion of calves sired by AI accross breeds. Belgiun Blue, Charolais and Simmental breeds have the highest % of AI usage compared with stockbull usage. In contrast Aubrac, Peidmontese and Shorthorn have the lowest % of AI usage compared with stockbull usage.
