Table 6 summary:

• Not surprisingly, 97% of all the dams of pedigree beef calves born in 2015 are Irish.
• The majority of the foreign pedigree dams come from the UK and France with the remainder coming from Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany & Italy (Graph 10).

Only 3% of the Dam’s of Irish Pedigree beef calves were themselves imported into Ireland.
