Dermot Motherway is a final year agriculture student at the Cork Institute of Technology. As part of his final year thesis, Dermot is looking at replacement strategies on Irish Dairy farms and would really appreciate some help in gathering some quantitative data for his research.
This survey will try to gather information on how farmers will proceed with their breeding programmes in the future. Specifically, to understand the direction of the farmers in relation to the numbers and type of dairy replacements they plan on breeding and the use of beef breeds.
