The Beef Sector Efficiency Programmes include the Beef Environmental Efficiency Programme Sucklers (BEEP-S) and the Dairy Beef Calf Programme.  The closing date for completion of the weighing is fast approaching in both schemes as 5:30 on Tuesday November 1st is the deadline for having weights recorded onto the ICBF database. Genotyped 4/5-Star female Sales

ICBF in collaboration with DAFM and ICOS are coordinating BDGP eligible female sales in marts thoughout September and October. These females will be genotyped 4/5-star and born on/before 30th June 2021. If purchased, they will immediately be counted towards your herd’s 31st Oct target once moved into your herd number. Under 7 weeks Remaining in the BEEP-S & Dairy Beef Calf Programme

The deadline for weighing animals as part of the BEEP-S and the Dairy Beef Calf Programme is fast approaching. Animals in both Beef Sector Efficiency Programmes must be weighed before November 1st.  The weight data recorded should be submitted to the ICBF database within 7 days of the weighing event. (more…)

November 2022 Evaluation Deadline- Deadline for all genotypes samples is 31st August.

The November 2022 Evaluation will be published on 22nd November. The final date to have any DNA samples (hair/tissue/AI straws returned to ICBF to have genomic evaluation published in November, is 31st August. (more…)
